You can fly firect from Athens to Zakynthos with Olympic Airways. There is one flight per day. You can make the reservation for your ticket from a local office or from Athens Airport.

If you want to take the bus you have to go from the airport of Athens to the bus station KTEL for Zakynthos. The trip by bus takes about 6 hours including the ferry to Zakynthos.

From the ports of Ancona, Brindisi and Bari are daily ferryboats to Patras. From there you take the road south to Kilini (1 hour) and the ferry to Zakynthos (1 1/4 hour)
